Roadworks
Al Naboodah Civil Engineering Division was originally formed in 1975 as Roads Division.
From inception, Al
Naboodah Contracting Civil Engineering Division has completed more than 1,500
kilometres of motorways, public highways and town roads. Projects range in size
and complexity from urban improvement schemes, to prestigious infrastructure
development schemes such as the Rostamani development in Sharjah and the EMAAR
Properties development in Dubai, as well as major highway contracts such as the
Dubai Ring Road Project valued at over 150 million Dirhams. Work on the recently
awarded Dubai Bypass valued at over Dhs. 250 million is in progress.
Other technically challenging works have included the construction of the
Ghayle-Gillay highway for the Sharjah Municipality. Where, by the use of
blasting, rock splitting and ripping techniques several hundred thousand tonnes
of rock was excavated and a 4 kilometre highway was carved in mountainous
terrain climbing from the coast to 400 metres above sea level.
Over the last 32 years, Al Naboodah Civil Engineering Division has built many highways and arterial roads, contributing to the infrastructure of United Arab Emirates. |
