Quality System Al Naboodah Contracting (L.L.) Company- Civil Engineering Division has a well-established Quality System for ensuring that all its operations are controlled and monitored for compliance to the project quality requirements. This system was accredited to ISO 9002:1994 Quality System in July 1997 by AOQC Moody International and recertified to ISO 9001:2000 in December 2003.Our Readymix Concrete and Asphalt Production facilities are also registered to ISO 9001:2000. ACC has a full-fledged Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) department headed by the QA/QC Manager and operated through QA/QC Engineers. All major projects being handled by ACC have Contract specific QA/QC Plans, which are implemented and monitored by dedicated QA/QC engineers assigned to site. These plans typically cover all construction activities related to the project and are referenced against Project Specifications, International Standards and Local Authorities' regulations. Material testing are controlled by Laboratory Department headed by Laboratory Manager and field technicians assigned to all project sites. Material Inspection, Supplier and subcontractor audits and internal audits are conducted regularly to maintain and continually improve the quality of our system.
Safety in operations has always been of prime concern for us and no efforts have been spared in maintaining a high standard of awareness and implementation of safe working practices at all our work sites.We believe in a safe working environment. Our Health & Safety Department is headed by the Health & Safety Manager and supported by dedicated Safety Engineers and Officers on all project sites. Our H&S System was recently registered to OHSAS 18001:1999, making us one among the very few major civil contractors in UAE. With all of our experience and expertise, combined with our workforce, equipment and computer based project management facilities; we have been the first choice for major Clients and leading Consultants operating in the area.
