Earthworks

With a massive expansion in the area of large earthmoving projects, Al Naboodah Contracting has expanded its earthmoving fleet and undertaken several contracts in this field, the largest of these being the excavation of 10 million m³ for Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport in 2003-2004.

Aanother major project was at Rashidiya for Dubai Municipality. This project involved the excavation and filling of 6 million cubic metres of material over a period of six months, with production peaking at a rate of 50 thousand cubic metres of material per day.

Other notable projects have included earthworks at Al Mizhar and filling at Nad Al Hamer as well as the Emirates Hills project for EMAAR Properties, for the construction of a prestigious 18 hole golf course involving 4.5 million m³ of earthworks to lakes, fairways and building platforms.

The most recent project successfylly completed by us was the Jumeirah Golf Estates, involving 5 million m³ of earthworks.
