Dams

In a land where water is as precious as oil, Al Naboodah has been the main contractor on the construction of several earth filled dams within the Emirates.

These include a dam and recharge facilities at Wadi Hadf Dam for the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, the Hatta New Dam Z6 for Dubai Municipality and the Wadi Basseirah Dam near Dibba.

In 2003, we built 9 dams at various locations in the Emirates of Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Ajman. Our recent feat has been the construction of two dams (600 m. and 350 m. long) and a 2.5 kilometer long and 17 m wide channel at Al Hail and Al Laban in Fujeirah. The channel was designed by us.
